Protego Totalum is an Alternate Universe Harry Potter canon only roleplay site which focuses on what would have happened if Voldemort had died before the prophecy was even made, and how the marauders would have raised their kids, and how the lives of the trio would be with no war looming over them. Would they still be friends? Will they still be sorted into the same houses? Will old fueds remain the same or will they become friends this time ?

Ministry has decided to bring back the tradition of EXCHANGE PROGRAM in hopes of renewing friendship between the three great schools of Europe.
The exchange program would be conducted between Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry would play as the host for the first time, and would accomodate the students from the other schools throughout the school year. Activity Check

Earning Galleons
In Protego Totalum adult characters have the chance to earn Galleons. Wanna know how, it's very simple, you earn through the number of posts you write and some times earning them through special events and such. These Galleons can be used in the G&G Shop to buy any stuff, IC or OOC.
You can claim the galleons whenever you want. But do make sure that you follow the below code and post the appropriate links to make it easy for us to validate them.
5 Galleons
- 150+ word post (without the code) - creating a character from the smallest group (member wise) - for every claim you post in (class,club,birthdays, all such) - for completing a thread - for replying in an open owl (first and second reply) - posting an owl thread
10 Galleons
- 300+ word post(without the code) - Reaching 10 IC posts (only RP posts) - for making a muggleborn character - for making an open thread/owl - have your character graduate from Hogwarts - for completing a thread with more than 15 replies - for creating a thread involving three or more characters
15 Galleons
- 400+ word post(without the code) - for making a total of 5 posts in 24 hours (same character) - reaching 25 IC posts (only RP posts) - if the character is nominated for the OTM awards - writing a one-shot thread - for completing a thread with more than 20 replies involving 2 chars
20 Galleons
- 500+ word post(without the code) - reaching 25 IC posts (only RP posts) - for making a halfblood character - for making a character from the Sacred 28 families - creating an adult character over 30 years old - for every post in an event thread - if your character is nominated for an OTM award - for replying in an open thread (first and second reply) - writing a one-shot thread
25 Galleons
- 750+ word post(without the code) - for making a total of 5 posts in 24 hours (same character) - making a character with a non-Hogwarts alumni (only adults) - if your character wins an OTM award - for making a character working in Ministry/ St.Mungos/ Schools
30 Galleons
- 1000+ word post (without the code) - reaching 50 IC posts (only RP posts) - for making a pureblood character - making a character from a member want-ad - creating an adult character over 40 years old
35 Galleons
- for posting a journal or one shot more than 1000 words - reaching 75 IC posts (only RP posts) - for posting with a new member (staff can’t claim this) - earning a badge during an event - for creating a thread in an empty board - for creating a half-breed character (part vampire, part goblin etc) - for making a head or deputy head at Ministry/ St.Mungos/ Schools

- 1200+ word post(without the code) - for making a total of 10 posts in 24 hours (any of your characters') - making an adult character featured in the series - creating an adult character over 50 years old - for creating a creature (werewolf, vampire)
45 Galleons
- for making a char in Publications/ Quidditch/ Shop Staff. - for posting a total of 10 posts in 24 hours (same character) - completing a roulette thread - bringing a new member to the site
50 Galleons
- 1500+ word post(without the code) - reaching 100 IC posts (only RP posts) - for making a total of 20 posts in 24 hours (any of your characters') - creating an adult character over 60 years old - for making a higher official at Publications/ Quidditch/ Shop Staff.
