Aquila may have her own daughters to dote upon, but she would never neglect her god-daughter. Even after all these years, Aquila could remember the night Calla was born. She had been in the ministry that evening when James barged into her office to announce that her god-daughter was on her way. She had been rather taken aback to be honest. Never before that day was it mentioned about the new baby girl's godparents and for James to declare it that way had taken her by surprise. Nevertheless, she had followed James through the floo and reached the hospital to learn that Lily was in labor and that the baby was due in an hour or so. Aquila along with James, Sirius who was entertaining one year old Harry in his lap and Remus who was jumpy at each sound he was hearing. An hour later Calla was born and Aquila was named the godmother along with Remus who was the godfather to the red haired baby girl.
Fifteen years have passed and Aquila still remembers the day she had held the little girl in her arms. Calla truly was her first daughter, even before her own girls were born. And that was why when she felt like going to the book shop, she had floo-ed to the Potter cottage to ask Lily to send her god daughter over. Calla loved to read just like how she liked to prank and play quidditch, and Aquila always encouraged her god-daughter to be on the top of her academics and at times like these she would take Calla along with her.
Aquila had made her way to the book shop and walked inside. Calla knew that she would be waiting inside the shop, the market was too loud and boisterous for her. She always preferred the calm and quiet.
